Can you really buy a profit producing internet business that is ready-to-go? The first question that comes to mind is - why on earth would anyone sell one? If it was simple, hands-off, and was producing an income - why would they sell it?
Are There Really Any Twist-And-Go Options?
Maybe, but after three years full-time researching and testing this industry, I have not seen one. My experience has shown what most of our common sense already anticipated.
That does not mean to say that there are none advertised - quite the opposite. One of the telltale signs is that they are cheap - $20-$50. That is enough to make a profit for the seller, yet not too much for the buyer to worry about losing.
All the usual copyrighting tricks are used. In particular the 100% guarantee! Which is of course complete rubbish - some guarantees mean nothing, such as 100% satisfaction. Most have stipulations. Some are fraudulent. And impulsive haphazard people never remember to claim their money back anyway, they've moved on.
Why Are They Advertised?
They are advertised because they offer - or seem to offer - what many people would like to exist. And the advertisers know that people pay for an emotional want.
Certain individuals will be more or less tempted or motivated with the idea of a home based turn key internet business. A person who is 'energetically challenged' would love the concept. Someone who is impulsive is more likely to give it a try. Someone who is broke has a stronger pressure to try.
Competition
I have seen multiple ideas for turnkey businesses, especially on the Internet. Taking one at random - a programme that offers hundreds of web pages that have Adsense generating capabilities - according to the marketing these web pages have been structured to bring in free traffic through the search engines. Once there a percentage of the traffic will equate to sales. This idea will be sold to tens of thousands of people, all of whom have the same pages with the same keywords etc. Aside from content duplication, how can they all compete with exactly the same products and offers?
Turnkey v Sound Strategies
There is no home based turn key internet business - it simply does not exist. Each and every so-called turnkey option is nothing more than sales hype - often catering to exactly what some people are looking for.
However there are relatively straightforward and sound strategies and tactics that can be used, and that have an intrinsic likelihood of producing some profit. They all require effort and brainpower. There are no guarantees. And most importantly, any sound strategy will concentrate on minimising your exposure to risk.
