A little while ago a friend of mine asked me if he could have a job, because real estate was not making him any money anymore. I simply said, "I do not have a job that would be good for you." Because all the jobs I had available were hands on and get dirty for a little over minimum wage. You know the type, the ones high school kids have, like pumping gas, cutting down trees, digging ditches etc. Well the money he used to make, compared to what I would have paid him, I wouldn't do that to a friend.

After he looked around, he wanted to just move to another market. Seemed like the right thing to do. Except his girl friend would not let him. All her friends were here, parents etc. But his income had gone from $10,000 a month to $3000-$4000 a month. Not good for your libido, if you know what I mean. It wears on a guy after a while.

Which brings me to this article, why do something that doesn't make you enough money? Why do people get stuck in that rut. Some for months, others for years, and one day, 5 years has gone by and your still only making $30,000- $75,000 a year. Now dont get me wrong, most people can live quite happily on that amount of money. But we all want more, isnt that why we dream about winning the lottery? So anyways, add those numbers up, then subtract your monthly bills, and well, be honest with yourself, how much money do you put into savings or retirement savings every month?

When I was 20 years old my father told me to start putting $50 a month into RRSP's, well that gave me a few dollars after a few years, but not enough to do anything with. So lets be honest with eachother, can you retire on $50 a month for 30 years, NO! So how much do you need to put away, well I dont know, I guess it all depends on you lifestyle. But I do know there are 2 things you can do to correct the money situation most people get stuck in.

First there is Cut Back on spending. We have all tried it, and that doesn't work for more than a few weeks at best. Now the second is to Make More Money. Now don't we all wish it was that easy. The sad reality is that it is. The problem is that most people just dont know where to start, or they go about it the wrong way. What if you had a personal coach to help guide you through your business endeavours. I sure know that could have helped me. Wow, I bet my personal wealth would be 10 fold. Last time I checked, business coaches and personal coaches are expensive. So what about online?

The internet is forever changing and helping the little guys learn. After all that is how I started. The difference between most peoples success and failure is lack of support, even if it is just to remind you that what your doing is correct. But sometimes, all you have to do is put in the effort and unleash your inner self, that you know will succeed. We all have this person inside that wants more. You just have to give him/her a chance!
