Whenever we plan to start a workout regime for ourselves, we have some basic aims and objectives in mind such as reducing weight or gaining a specified amount of lean muscle mass. These are the very things that keep us motivated all throughout the grueling workout sessions. They also act as a beacon, helping us to find our way amidst the virtual chaos and uncertainty that we often experience when we commit ourselves to a workout plan.

The first thing that businesses need to do is make an assessment of their existing strengths and weaknesses in terms of the efficiency of their existing business processes.

After this, businesses need to analyze the available workout options such as DMADV (Design, Measure, Analyze, Design, Verify), DFSS (Design For Six Sigma), DMAIC (Design, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) etc. and decide which one of them will best work for them. Advanced software simulation tools can be used by businesses to make such assessments and consequently ensure that only the most appropriate workout regime is selected.
However, selecting the right workout regime may not necessarily ensure the success of Six Sigma initiatives, obviously because a lot more depends on how well and how sincerely a business organization follows the workout regime. If the prescribed workout standards and instructions are not followed, businesses will simply fail to achieve the set objectives, just like an individual, who might fail to lose weight due to excess calorie intake or lack of proper commitment to the workout schedule.
So, instead of boasting about the grandiose workout plans, businesses should concentrate more on devising practical solutions that will help in making Six Sigma workouts a reality.
