Look at an F1 race car and see how the different angles and contours make this the fastest vehicle on the planet. Appreciating aerodynamics is something that you will truly enjoy. If you are a car enthusiast then you might want to buy an aerodynamic car and display it in your garage. If you want to be more creative then you can add some aero body kits to your car or design your own kit.
If you are planning to design your own car frame then you will need computers and maybe even a small wind tunnel. If your computer can simulate the wind then that would be good. If you have a wind tunnel then you can see the actual flow of air in your design. The more graceful the air flows around your vehicle, the better.
