There are several ways of keeping your windshield clean. One thing that you should always do is keep your wiper fluid and sprinklers filled up. You can get wiper fluid at almost any car accessories store. Regarding the sprinklers, just keep them filled with water. If you would like to take things to another level then you should fill in the sprinklers with water and soap. This way, when the sprinklers start operating, the wipers will be cleaning the windshield not only with water but with soap as well. Just make sure that there is not too much soap or else you may end up with soap stains on your windshield.
An accessory that you could purchase for cleaning your wipers is the window cleaner. Yes, this is the window cleaner that you see in fast food chains, buildings, and the like. If you would like your windshield to be sparkling clean then a window cleaner would be a great accessory to have. Some stores would call it a glass cleaner but when you see such thing, you would not have any trouble knowing what it is for anyway. If you go into a car shop or car accessories store, just look for the window cleaning equipment and you will certainly find this accessory somewhere there.
If you think that cleaning your windshield from the outside is sufficient then you are not completely correct. You also have to clean your windshield from the inside. When it is very cold outside, there will be a tendency for the windshield to fog up. You will end up smudging it while you clean it with some cloth. When you are parked, you will have to make sure that this is cleaned all over again. You have to make sure that there are no smudges from the inside. You can also use your glass cleaner from the inside although this will be a bit tricky. It is hard to reach the corners when you are cleaning with the glass cleaner. You might want to try using a smaller cloth to reach the corners.
If you are going to clean your windshield, you have to make sure that you clean the outside and the inside of the windshield. Always make sure that your wipers and your sprinklers are working properly so that if any instant cleaning is necessary during transit, you will be able to do the necessary cleaning. Keep your windshield clean and you will be driving safely all the time.
