Purchasing a high quality, often expensive piece of outerwear usually means you really want to properly launder and care for that piece of outerwear. Simply tossing in the laundry with the rest of your laundry is not usually the most proactive method of insuring your piece of outerwear is going to give you the best support and usage over the lifespan of your new found apparel. Combination jackets are no different.

In fact, combination jackets for men, women, and children take a special hand. Those combination jackets or coats have to be properly maintained to insure you the best results for longer. Regardless of how much you spend on that piece of exceptional outerwear, you still expect a long life expectancy for your outerwear.

Several mnaufacturers have wonderful 3-in-1 jackets that are simply marvelous, convenient, and affordable. You would probably not expect this nice to cost so little, but that is what is good at surprising you with cheap prices and superior quality.

There are a few tips to insure you get the most out of your combination coats.

When you turn your combination coat inside out you will find you are getting a multitude of benefits. There is nothing like Velcro, button, zippers, or pockets literally destroyed by the agitator in the washer. Plus, Velcro will get that icky lint stuck to the face of it that is virtually impossible to clean yuck! Another benefit of turning the combination jacket inside out is that you are going to reduce the fading factor.

Simply turning your combination jacket inside will have a multitude of benefits. You will find you save money while your 3-in-1 piece of outerwear looks and feels better longer. Of course, you will also be expanding the life of your favorite piece of outerwear.

Another great idea when laundering your combination outerwear is to treat stains before placing into the machine. You can purchase stain sticks or sprays, or you can create your own concoctions. Regardless of how you remove the stains, treating the stains before hand will insure the spot does not turn into a disgusting looking stain you are stuck with until you purchase a new piece of outerwear.

Do not wash your combination outerwear with other pieces of household or work laundry. You will injure not only your other laundry but your jacket as well. Generally speaking, those combination coats are bulky anyway. Therefore, you would be putting too much into the wash at once. This is hard on your laundry and the washing machine.

In addition, the other laundry or your favorite new piece of outerwear may bleed. This means something is going to be coming out of the laundry a different shade of color than it went in.

Finally, do not use a dryer to dry the outerwear if you can help it at all. Use a laundry line outside, or simply hang on a plastic hanger in your bathroom. Heat can be beneficial in a hurry, but you will find you get more out of your combination coats, jackets, vests, and other outerwear simply by letting nature take its course.
