From all walks of life iced tea is a cool refreshing drink that has a long history of being enjoyed. However, first some clarification is in order; that it is not ice tea it is iced tea. What that means is that is not made from ice, but instead it is "iced" or made cold.

Making Iced Tea

In nearly every grocery store in the United States you will find regular teas and tea-type leaves used to make up iced tea. In general, tea is initially brewed hot and after made cold. Iced tea has the unique characteristic of being made from different types of teas. Nevertheless, in the majority of areas, the favored kind of tea that most people and manufacturers use for making iced tea is black.
