Everyone who learnt how to fly has done so with a lot of trial and error method. No one has got it right in the first attempt itself. So, trust yourself that you will learn, how to fly your model on your own. A little help and a few tips are enough. But, finally it all depends on YOUR ability to make it a smooth sail to fly. There is an engine and a transmitter. It is the transmitter in your hand that controls the movement and direction of the plane. The wings play a big part. Only if there is the right amount of wind, can lift the plane and make it fly higher. Ensure that the wings are always higher than the fuselage. It gives the plane stability and balance and ensures it does not tilt over and take a nosedive. The wing has to be controlled, with the control stick. At a turn, keep it in neutral, and if you want to stop, move the stick in the opposite direction. These few tips can be of great assistance to you.
To balance a plane is of utmost importance. If you have to use little pieces of lead, then do so. This will help to maintain the balance. A warped plane is bad to fly. Keep it down on a flat surface and have a good look at it from behind. Make sure that you see equal balance is maintained. So too, with the bottom wing. Or else, it will tend to tilt in that direction.
Use the wind to your advantage. If you have, to hand launch it, then throw it hard into the wind. Give it maximum momentum. If on the ground, then make sure, it picks up enough speed. Never ever try to take sharp turns, when its going fast. And remember it has to land sometime. You can opt for the circle or straight landing, whichever you prefer. So, fly your model airplanes with these tips in mind and have a fantastic time.
