Even reading this right now, you will only get what you are ready to know and understand. Even reading this again a week or two from now, you will get something completely different out of it, if you are ready to receive something else and something new. Open yourself up in order to be able to receive more.
As you progress in your understanding you will continue to be opening yourself up to newer information. Where you are is where you are, and you will always be learning from the position and place. Everything you take in will be filtered through that particular place and understanding.
Everything you come across new information and knowledge, you will only get out of that information what you are ready to receive at that moment. You will only get what you need at that time in order to move to the next level. That's why it's important to go back over books and things that you have read in the past. The same book or piece of information will offer new insights and knowledge for you and your growth.
The key is to pick up every little piece you can as you progress and learn. We never know when the little piece we need will come along. It could be anything, from anyone, at anytime. Sometimes we need to prepare ourselves for the smallest pieces of information in order to progress to the next step or phase of our development.
So begin to open up and allow yourself to receive information. You will always filter it, and you may never be able to change that. What you can change however is whether or not you are advancing in what you know and filtering information through that new perspective and information.
Always be willing to expand your reality. It's more than just taking in new information. Taking in new information helps, but it's not enough. Information is useless unless you know how to apply it and use it. Using and applying information is what makes up your reality.
For example, by the age of sixteen, we all know how to drive. We know what the gas peddle is, the brake peddle, the steering wheel, the gear shift, and other parts of the car. Yet we don't have the reality, the experience of driving. Knowing and doing are two totally different things.
We must use what we learn and know in order to expand our reality and our ability to take in new information and expand on our experience. We may know something, but we don't really know until we use. Once we use, we begin to develop insight based on that experience.
