Recently I was chatting with a friend of mine who is a regular consumer of adult videos. Without getting into a distraction from the main topic of this article, let me point out that it is interesting that it always someone else that is a regular consumer of adult material and not oneself.

Back to the topic: So this friend told me that there are some types of adult videos that she likes and some others that she does not. Since I do not, of course, watch adult videos, I was immediately interested to know more.

Apparently the entire genre of mature entertainment, to put it softly, has many sub-genres in it. To begin with, there is the distinction based on what the nationality of the person on the screen is. Common sub-types include Asian and Latino. This is a little odd, as different people within a certain nationality might have different amounts of attractiveness.

But we move ahead, and find that it is not just nationalities but also race that acts as another distinguishing factor of the adult video industry. Interesting, as I am still unable to decide whether people would want to watch adult material where the performers are of the viewers own race or different, or mixed.

Then there is the other kind where the entire theme of the adult movie is related to a spoof. In a sense of speaking all movies are spoofs of real life. But these specific kinds of movies that I am talking about actually spoof something like horror, action, suspense, or actually spoof and entire movie, and I mean a mainstream regular movie.

As it that was not enough there is an entire categorization scheme based on the type of acts that people on the screen are undertaking. I would have thought that wholesome and well balanced intimacy with a little bit of this and a little bit of that would have worked best.

But what do I know? I find that the adult entertainment watcher is specifically interested in repeatedly watching a limited range of activity. Interesting! I am sure that a psychologist could have an orgy delving into the human mind and how it relates to adult entertainment. But the word orgy is probably a little out of place, though relevant in the context that we are discussing.

Then of course is the more understandable classification based on the shape, size and other physical features of the characters on the screen! For instance some people will insist on watching only women with red hair!
