Some couples provide a time limit of a year after marriage to allow people to purchase their gift. However, the chances of you finding the perfect gift after the ceremony are very slim if you have not found the time to buy a gift beforehand.
When you select a present think about finding something sentimental, neutral and long lasting. Sometimes buying a fine wine that will mature over the years is a great gift for symbolising a long lasting relationship and can even be given with a sentimental note attached to it to open on their anniversary. Such gifts need time so allow yourself time out to choose a gift, making sure to think about what the couple may like to enjoy together.
